1: Vitamin C and its derivatives

3: Arbutin

It's very popular in the market and most safe and effective whitening ingredients.

On the market, most of arbutin is a β-arbutin, just only few manufacturers to produce α-arbutin. For α-arbutin, the price is also very high than β-arbutin. But the whitening effect is more than 15 times of β-arbutin. The biggest difference between the two in the physical properties is the spin luminosity: α-arbutin is 180 degrees, and  β-arbutin is about 60 degrees.

4: Kojic acid
